Additional Options For Outlook 2000:
<basic outlook
setup page> <setting up

It helps to be basically familiar with the Tools -> Options
section but you will seldom need to worry about the settings in here.
Click on the tools menu and choose options as shown below. <next>

The options window is pictured below. You probably only need to
worry about the following tabs: preferences (including e-mail options), mail
delivery and other. The preferences tab is pictured below. Click the e-mail
options button to automatically save sent messages or get to the advanced e-mail
options section.
<e-mail options> <mail
delivery tab> <other tab>

The e-mail options button window is pictured below. The only notable
options are to automatically save (or not save) sent messages and/or to go to
the advanced e-mail options button where you have additional options (none of
which are crucial to getting e-mail).

<mail delivery tab> <other
tab>

The advanced e-mail options button window is pictured below.

The mail delivery tab lets you set several options. You can also
click on the "accounts" button which links to the Tools->Accounts
section already covered in earlier sections. <next>

The accounts button window is pictured below. This topic has already
been covered in the accounts configuration section of this tutorial. <new
account setup> <account
configuration>

The "other" tab gives you an option to empty deleted
items when you exit Outlook 2000.
Don't worry about the "advanced options" button.
